16 Dec Press release for the SeaTown appeal.
St. John of God Community Services will always try and innovate to provide the best possible service for the people they support. The SeaTown project brings new and exciting opportunities to young people who want to be trained in different jobs, jobs that will help them live a full and more independent life. We would like to thank our donors for Believing in the Joy of Giving this Christmas and supporting this project, but most of all pay tribute to the young people, their families and the community that supports them in helping bring this wonderful project to life. – John Fleming, CEO, Foundation.
St John of God North East Services has launched a fundraising campaign to develop a new day centre for adults who present with disabilities. The centre which will feature state-of-the-art amenities is located in Seatown, Dundalk. The proposed plans for the centre include a multimedia studio, fab lab, pottery and ceramic studio and a fully accessible outdoor area for recreational activities.
To bring this vision to life, St. John of God North East Services with the support of St. John of God Foundation have launched a fundraising campaign. All proceeds from the campaign will support our vision for the centre.
“We are thrilled to expand our services and bring this much-needed resource to the centre of Dundalk. This new centre is a testament to our dedication to creating opportunities and improving the lives of those we serve. This centre will not only provide vital resources and opportunities for people with disabilities but will also foster a sense of community and belonging, right in the heart of the town’’. [Mary Clare Mc Court, Manager].
